A pioneering training in Europe
The Interuniversity Diploma in Robotic Surgery from the University of Lorraine is intended for all healthcare professionals wishing to master the essential procedures of robotic surgery.
Preceded by online learning (E-Learning), face-to-face training is a practical, intensive 5-day approach, including 35 hours of learning on simulators and robots as well as 7 hours of interaction with experts in the field. Each participant develops the skills necessary for safe surgical practice.
The sessions include practical workshops, simulation exercises and observations in the operating room, with trainers from the fields of surgery and aeronautics. In addition to technical skills, aspects of error management and optimization of teamwork are addressed.
STAN Institue is the training organization mandated by the University of Lorraine in the organization and delivery of this diploma in robotic surgery.
